If you’re passing through Slough and wondering where Station Jim has gone, worry not! He is taking a much-needed rest to freshen up for the Summer. We hope to have Jim back from his holiday, feeling shiny and ready to resume station mascot duties in a couple of months 🐶

#TravelByTrain - Devon Steam & Sea edition I recorded this for those who’d enjoy the sounds & views of a steam train (loco was 75014 Braveheart, of 1951) up the hill from Goodrington Sands on Dartmouth Steam Railway & Riverboat Co.. Surely one of the most perfect & well-run tourist rail routes in Britain.

An amazing pub, on so many levels. Not least the friendly staff and well kept ales (had a superb Goats Milk from Church End Brewery yesterday)
