1st Battalion, The Mercian Regiment A ‘Grenadier’ Company deployed to Leek Training Area to conduct Platoon and Company training serials including advance to contact, deliberate attacks and recce patrols at night. The training culminated in a deliberate raid at dawn. #Readiness #SFSH

Congratulations 1 Mercian winning 2023 Army FA Mens Sixes at excellent facility at Grantham Town FC beating 5th Battalion REME 3-0 in final. Approx 180 soldiers involved inc newly mentored Army FA Referees 59 games - 182 goals. Trustee Nigel Bamford 🐺 presented trophy to winning captain.
