It is with great sadness that the Trustees of The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment announce the death of our Regimental Secretary, Colonel (Retired) Chris Owen. He passed away in hospital on 28th Dec. Our thoughts are with Chris’s wife Meredith and all of their family and friends.

1LANCS has been playing its part supporting the UK gov to evacuate 2k people from Sudan, most of whom are UK nationals or their dependents.
They have also evacuated civilians from more than 20 other nations in support of their allies and partners.

Exercise Jagare, a Swedish Armed Forces led reconnaissance exercise took place in Arvidsjaur recently involving the British Army’s 3rd Battalion The Ranger Regiment (3 RANGER) and Sweden’s Norrland Dragoon Regiment.
