#OnThisDay in 925, the great Arabic doctor Rhazes died. He studied medicine in Baghdad and wrote on the pathophysiology of the urinary tract, bladder and kidney stones and venereal disease. He gave excellent descriptions of stone symptoms and treatment, including lithotomy.
