Officially signed. A little normalcy for Karissa Picard as she signs her NLI today for SVSU Track & XC 4x8 state Champ, 2x5th place 4x400, 4xSVL Team Championships, 2 x MHSAA Regional Championships. Surrounding by her teammates. Just how she likes it.

4x4 needed to drop some time for regionals and they had a big drop to be County Champs 2021. (Hand-off work on Monday).

It’s been a crazy season in 2021 but seeing these kids improve every week has been a lot of fun. Both teams ran a way with the Bay County Championship !!

Huge shout out to Karissa Picard on being selected as the Saginaw Valley League Track and Field MVP for 2021. She had 3 firsts and a 2nd at the Championships on Wednesday. After getting robbed of the end of her XC season due to contact tracing, she never quit.

Karissa Picard representing Team Michigan with a 2nd place finish in the 800 and a new school record of 2:14.97. It doesn’t make up for the fall and near miss on the medal stand last week, but a great way to cap off a stellar career.
