#SB9 , a law that allowed for the destruction of homes in working-class communities for luxury housing, was reversed by a judge for failing to mandate affordable units. We lobbied for a mandate, but the authors refused to accept an amendment. We need affordable housing foremost.

And another busy week at the UN starting each morning with the raising of the flags , conversations on poverty, homelessness, trauma, and intergenerational conversations in preparation for the Civil Society conference in Nairobi. And the day ends with the lowering of the flags🙏

And I can tell you we celebrated the day UNANIMA International yesterday🙏So delighted for all of you especially Sr Frances. Many years ago Eamonn and myself traveled from @Sophia_housing to talk about Portllaoise with her. It’s a blessed project already.
