I'm vegan and I oppose banning red meat. Americans should have a freedom to choose what they eat, be it beyond or impossible, cultivated meat, or whole food plant based. But the ban should include animal exploitation and abuse in all forms, which will cover animal products.

This country has many shortcomings, but as an immigrant I'm still grateful for the relatively higher freedom of speech, expression, and choice compared to most other countries. The solution for progress, imho, is not name-calling those with whom we disagree. We need more

Nearly a thousand physicians, healthcare professionals, and dietitians came together here to discuss benefits of eating whole food plant based diet. The dietary guidelines of most countries, including the US, are already plant dominant. We just have to implement it!

Less is better than more. But ideally zero. Every time we have a little animal products, we legitimize an animal based food system that causes massive suffering. By going vegan, we finally say no to this cruelty. We go from being part of the problem, to being the solution.

It makes us happy to see a bunch of happy animals! What happens to us when it comes to the animals we eat? We easily justify exploitation of their reproductive systems for dairy and eggs, the destruction of their families and joy, and killing them when we could be vegan.

Our taxes support industries that cause pandemics, zoonotic diseases, and antibiotic resistance, and then our taxes are used to bail them out. All this money could have gone into building a more sustainable plant based food system.

Saw these driving around Texas. What people see vs what I see. Marketing vs Truth. Don't let them lie to you. Don't lie to yourself. Wake up. Go vegan.

My food didn't have a face, didn't have a mother, and didn't scream to death in a slaughterhouse. Killing animals for food belongs to the Stone Age. Slaughterhouses are barbaric, sad, and bloody places that don't belong in a civilized world with decent people. Go vegan 🙏

Showing the cruelty behind meat, egg, and dairy to students at UT Austin. We talked about antibiotic resistance, zoonotic diseases, chronic diseases, and environmental issues related to animal consumption. But I always show the footage, because it speaks for itself.

The reason people eat animals is not bc they REALLY think plants have feelings, be intellectually honest! Instead of repeating the same narratives animal ag is spreading, think for yourself. I didn't become vegan bc I stopped liking meat. It was just the right thing to do.

I chose to stop eating eggs, bc all male babies are killed. They're not profitable. Doesn't matter if it's a small farm, cage-free... . Females are also exploited for their eggs, then killed. I realized that they don't lay eggs for us and we shouldn't exploit them.

Oh @PETA. Ofc I'd sh00t a dog! If we eat pigs, we might exploit all animals as well! Why be selective? I tried to buy ammo to hunt dogs and the snowflake hunters were shocked 😳 youtu.be/OtKyLaHEVHM?si…
