[Final] Crews have stopped the forward rate of spread at 18 acres. A structure fire that spread to the vegetation was determined to be the cause. Firefighter will remain on scene overnight to ensure all hotspots are extinguished.

.CAL FIRE/San Diego County Fire is at scene of a vehicle over the side off Hwy. 76 near Rice Canyon. 76 is closed down due to power lines being down across the road. The closure is from Rice Canyon to Pala Mesa Road. 1 patient was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

.CAL FIRE/San Diego County Fire firefighters are assisting with search efforts for a military helicopter reported missing in the area north of Interstate 8 & Kitchen Creek Road, located southeast of Pine Valley. Multiple agencies are searching the area covered in snow making it hard to access.
