For me, I was reluctant to visit the past, but at the age of 53 I dipped into it briefly shortly after I started reading this book. I didn't linger there long. And, I remain certain that even if I hadn't been abused I'd largely be about the same, only, my attitude might differ.

Not to mention when nurses, care workers and allied healthcare professionals with decades of experience are pushed out or cannot bear to stay, same repercussions of staff short of numbers/skills and nobody left who will speak up…
