Deputy Megan Johnson received the Lifesaver Award for her quick response on February 11, 2025, when she saved a citizen shot in the chest by a nail gun. Her training as a combat medic and ER nurse enabled her to act swiftly and save the victim’s life.

Yesterday, Sheriff Anthony Lowery and the BCSO SRO Unit kicked off a week-long training at The Alabama Association of School Resource Officers (TASSRO). Our very own Deputy Lacey Wolf was recognized for her outstanding work and dedication to the children of Baldwin County.
