i am actually very curious if anyone knows this: who are examples of who this actually happened to? who was an artist that minted/sold very low cost work to collectors and also had that collection grow to the point where they could live entirely off royalties and now that artist

My personal view about generative art is that it’s not dead now and won’t be in the future, but the price action and demand we’ve seen in the past is most definitely dead forever. That was a time capsule. It’ll still be here but very few ppl will collect it and it will sell/trade
