First time playing with the MOTL DDR Classic rule set. Yeah…instant flashback to 2003 on a DDRMAX2 cabinet. No rhyme or reason for the scores…just vibes. This will be a fun 8 or so weeks 🙃😅

Wild that I’m about to begin my 8th year as an administrator for my university here in Connecticut. Additionally, I’m teaching 2 classes this fall term. Hard forecasting substantive MOTL prep but at least I’ll have a good time in OH in a few weeks 😊

The last time I player DDR after midnight was….20+ years ago? Nevertheless, here’s to a quick but fun session since I’m going to the Big E tomorrow 😅

So…an emerging item that developed from the weekend. When I went to HYM, my husband tagged along for his first Round1 experience. He’s never been into rhythm games but surprisingly…he really liked Gitadora. So much he wanted to go back the next day & play again. 😅😅

Local culture is always so interesting. People were completely aloof that I had no clue that the Cleveland Gaurdians were playing in the MLB wild card game. Downtown Cleveland gave me some good chuckles thus far.

Day 1 MOTL Update: A reallly great Thursday! -DDR Classic was fun! Got bodied but also got a prize because I came last in my pool so did I really lose? 😅 -Quick strength training over at Planet Fitness -Enjoyed a nice Pazookie meal at BJs. Strawberry shortcake was 🔥

An observation: I stayed at a hotel about 15 miles away from Round1 (this had its own adventures nonetheless 😅) Because I’ve been taking the bus across county lines and transit systems, I just want to acknowledge there’s a lot of beautiful areas across the Cleveland region

Baby this hotel happy hour spread was legit!! Much needed with my white wine after tournament play today. 🙂

JYPE truly is not one to play with. I’ve been jamming all weekend.

My husbad and I were craving a bit of the South and a New England Snow storm has trapped us in. Therefore, homemade biscuits and sausage gravy occurs. Everytime I make this, I’m reminded how much I hate making biscuits from scratch 😅😅

Snowed-In Chrinicles Continued. Found these random chips for an afternoon snack. They were mid. Eventually made dinner tho. Fried Chicken. Hawaiian Roll. Roasted Brussel Sprouts tossed in a Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar. ✨

Guess I have a reason to get back on a few dance machines this year 😮‍💨 See yall in August ✨
