A junkyard in Prince George’s County adjacent to DC is currently producing an odor similar to natural gas. It is NOT natural gas & not hazardous. Residents in the area do not need to call 911 to report this odor. #DCsBravest are working with other agencies to mitigate this.

Update now 2 Alarm fire 1500 block Church St NW. Fire top floor and roof 3 story occupied apartment building. Bulk of fire knocked down. Hitting hotspots & checking for extension. No injurIes. Aprox 20 units & 75 firefighters operating.

Box Alarm 1600 block Kalorama Rd NW. Units on initial call reported smoke showing from 2 story residential building. Box was requested and fire is knocked down. No injuries reported.
