Not tweeted for a while so figured i'd improve the interwebs by adding some conspiracy theories about masks. -An alien shapeshifting species has landed and can copy everything but facial expression so invented the 'rona so they could easily move among us.

Conspiracy theory the second. An intelligent form of alien face hugger has landed and is using facemasks as a cover to drive the infected human around unnoticed.

Morning, fellow people who pen-vomit brain-worlds! Question for the class; does anyone have a strategy for sticking to one story? I'm finding it impossible not to be drawn towards the shiny lights of other ideas like an amnesiac moth. #amwriting #writingcommunity

Got handed a bunch of my teenage attempts to work as a comic artist today. Back then I wrote to give me something to draw to, but now, I see writing as the thing I love more. Funny how we change.

So, I helped an old friend with his Music and, favour done, returned to my book; happy to have dipped my toe briefly back into my old life. But apparently the recording has hit a bit of a nerve and now he needs me to write an album. Sorry all my WIP books.

Some nightmare fuel for Ēostre!

Been dragged away from my writing stories by writing music. Now the album is nearly written i'm giving the side eye back to my word docs. Well, the characters aren't gonna punish themselves, are they?

The one good thing of being dragged away from writing and back into music is it has forced distance from my wip. I'm editing now and seeing so many improvements to the prose. Also ProWritingAid is seriously helping weed out the issues. Taking it from pulp to readable.

Note to self: the dangers of 'change all' are real. Also, i will be calling someone 'Shamisterock' in my next book.

Something i've noticed; although I write exclusively digitally and can't imagine using pen and paper anymore, i still have to create my structure with a notepad. It's like i can't fully visualise it otherwise. #iamweirdtho #amwriting

Me: Right. Just have to get half a page a day down on draft zero... that's how we compete it. Also me: Okay, so i feel like writing out the thousand year history of my fantasy world so i can see where the stories lay for all the books that aren't even on my to do list. #amwriting

So in Project BritMilSciFi i've just deleted a character and given all his punishment to another poor sole. Condensing misery for efficiency. #amwritingscifi

So, in Project BritMilSciFi one of the pov characters is going a little more twisted with angst than i expected. Thinking he may get worse before he gets better. #amwritingscifi #theseweirdosarewritingthemselves

I was only today years old when i realised comic books/films can technically be classed as urban fantasy series... or as they came first, urban fantasy is basically superheroes... and i kinda like that. I need to lay off the coffee.

Just written my villain's '10 point plan' to take over the world. It's a good plan. Solid. Fool-proof you might say. Would be a shame if a protagonist were to come along and ruin it. 😏

I have this idea to have my antagonist inferred evil to the point the reader thinks they remember them doing hideous things but on reread you realise the only trustworthy person in the book was the baddie. So, you know... no pressure. #amwriting #amwritingfantasy
