Most brokers think cold calling is about getting a deal right away. It’s not. The real goal? Making a positive impression and offering up value so they want to talk to you again. You’re not closing the portfolio or getting business on call number one. That’s not how this works.

I don’t have income goals, annually, or transaction goals—but I do have daily goals of getting my email read and responded to as well as my calls returned. The second typically takes care of the first.
