Our next rain chances arrive tomorrow as a line of scattered thunderstorms will likely move from north to south. The more robust thunderstorms will have the potential for strong downburst winds, but the overall severe weather threat is low. #dfwwx #ctxwx #txwx

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop tomorrow afternoon. The main hazard will be damaging downburst winds and some winds could become severe. Lightning will also be possible. Stay weather-aware tomorrow afternoon and evening! #txwx #dfwwx #texomawx

Big thanks to Denton County CERT, UNT Emergency Management & University of North Texas System for the hard work today in the Texas heat! It's not a matter of "if" a disaster will happen, but "when" it will happen. Preparedness efforts like today set communities up for success during disasters & emergencies.

🚨*Tonight's Severe Threat Update*🚨 We have outlined the area with the greatest threat for 80+ mph winds (pink hatching). You need to PREPARE for widespread damaging winds, but know NOT EVERYONE will see 80+ mph, this will occur in "pockets" along the line! #dfwwx #ctxwx #txwx
