Flinthills girls win 68 - 32 over Oxford. Paige Corter (are you ready for this?) had 41 points and made 15/16 free throws - BOTH SCHOOL RECORDS! Great team win and congrats to Paige on her huge night.

Down two starters due to injury and illness, the Flinthills Lady Mustangs battled hard against a tough Wichita Classical team and squeaked out a 43 - 38 win. Paige Corter led us with 16 points and Tagen Carney added five threes for 15. 16 - 4 (17-4 with our sub-state bye). Wow!

Either Tulane is much better than I expected, or K-State isn't. The Wildcat secondary seems a bit bewildered. Gonna be a good game.

Colin Klein called and ran some great QB run plays in the past. K-State has a fantastic running QB this year, but I haven't seen a good play call for a Johnson run in this game. Anyone else feel the same?

The last few minutes of that JHX TBT game was hard to watch. Most of those mistakes were things middle school players do . . . reverse dribble right into a defender, miss a dunk when a layup could have maybe sealed it, threw two LONG cross-court passes in the backcourt. SMH.

Basketball folks from the Wichita, Ks. area . . . I ran across a video of a 1962 biddy basketball team from Wichita that won a national tournament against New Orleans. Someone has to know someone who knows something about this. The score was 41 - 40 with lowered rims. Help.
