Sweet story of love at any age. 76 yr-old Russ Osborn, a widowed veteran, made a vow to never marry again. But that was before he met Nancine Brooks at @LifeAt2Life's campus in Shirley, MA. They tied the knot today in ceremony w/ fam & friends. #ValentinesDay #Boston The Castle Group

I spent a few months working on this piece for the The Eagle-Tribune on Andover High's 1st girls bball title in 2003, a story of tragedy & triumph & how we remember our past. Huge thanks to everyone who spoke to me for this piece & especially Bill Burt 🇺🇸. eagletribune.com/sports/andover…
ESSAY: “She was something akin to a 1970s AOC,” writes David Tanklefsky, of Bella Abzug. “Bella was a one-woman wrecking crew of the gendered status quo.” wbur.fm/3M6Klxp
COMMENTARY: “Paid family leave is not a vacation and shouldn’t be thought of as one. It’s just a different type of work -- one that society has historically undervalued and placed on the weary shoulders of women,” writes David Tanklefsky. wbur.fm/3M8XWV0
So sorry to hear about Heather Walker's passing. She was such a gem. Just a wonderful spirit and an incredibly kind person. Loved working with her the few times I got a chance to. Condolences to her family and the Boston Celtics and NBA communities.
Thinking a lot about this night from back in the fall of 2019 - a bowling bash for marcus smart's foundation we covered for 7News. Heather totally in her element w/ @tackofall99 and Lenny Clarke and then former Red Sox reliever Jim Corsi (right). Both gone way too soon.
Hoping on here quickly to wish a happy retirement to one of my favorite Boston University professors, Chris Daly. He quite literally wrote the book (in fact a few) on the history of journalism in the U.S. and is a fount of writerly wisdom and an all around good dude. Thank you Chris!
Resharing this video from about six years ago of Patrice casually strolling into an interactive fan faceoff event outside Faneuil Hall we were covering for @7news. I love the Blades fist bump. One of the most unassuming superstars you'll ever see. Boston Bruins #Boston
