Just wanted to update: apparently, no one has researched this yet... the most relevant study is based in Sweden and shows, in essence, that some people are only allergic to male (intact) dogs... Many thanks to Anne-Marie, ‌Copenhagen Prospective Studies on Asthma in Childhood!
