According to Nuffield data, in 2020, £6.2 billion was spent on agency staff in the NHS. There are currently 360,000 nurses, midwives & health visitors. That works out at £17,222 pounds pay for each nurse if agency staff weren't used. Money is there. nuffieldtrust.org.uk/resource/the-n…
