Such a tragedy in #Sudan.

Since conflict erupted in #Sudan in 2023, 11.7M people have been displaced due to conflict & insecurity. This includes 8.6M displaced within Sudan and 3.1M into neighbouring countries, per Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM). In Nov, over 393K people fled Aj Jazirah due to escalating clashes and attacks.

It may very well be that #USAID was being used as a political instrument, as Elon claims. But I hope the Trump administration, DOGE, and Elon Musk will also consider that a lot of good was being done. Let's not throw the baby out with the bath water.
