1/2 My partner, her elderly mother and I were held up in our home at gunpoint last night. Tied up (badly) with shoelaces. Robbers fairly polite, although occasionally threatened to shoot us. Just wanted money and easy stuff to sell. Desperate times for so many.

Police are investigating after one of its own stations was targeted in an early morning ramming. This burnt out ute is believed to have been driven through the doors of Clarence Plains Police Station before being dumped. The station was without surveillance cameras at the time.
