Exhibition of George IV Coronation at the Royal Pavilion Brighton Museums is well worth seeing. Cleverly laid out though several rooms, it includes splendid artefacts—a painted scroll of the procession, costumes, print items and a bust of the king on loan from Regency Society.

Mercedes Gleitze, the subject of the newly-released film 'Vindication Swim' was born in Freshfield Road, Brighton. As well as long-distance swimming, she also raised money to house the destitute. (brightonhistory.org.uk/people/people_…)
