Yellow Wagtail, very adept at balancing on the tops of these stems.

Last night I came across a huge number of Heath Spotted Orchids on Dartmoor and stayed until low light. No mistaking this UK orchid - the coastal form of Early Marsh Orchid (Dactylorhiza incarnata var. coccinea). They glow exceptionally in the June sunshine - these ones are from a magical visit to Brauntons Burrows on 11.06.23.
