The war in Gaza has become the prism through which a new generation of future world leaders sees the Israel-Palestine conflict. middleeasteye.net/opinion/gaza-c…

A ceasefire in Gaza is not the end of Palestine’s nightmare, but the start of Israel’s. middleeasteye.net/opinion/gaza-c…

Neither enforced starvation, nor hypothermia, nor disease, nor brutalisation and mass rape at the hands of their invaders, could break their will to stay on their land. middleeasteye.net/opinion/gaza-c…

Never before have Palestinian fighters and civilians shown this level of resistance in the history of the conflict - and it could prove to be transformative. middleeasteye.net/opinion/gaza-c…

Trump and Netanyahu are laying plans for a forcible mass transfer of the Palestinian people that would dwarf all the others that have taken place since 1948. middleeasteye.net/opinion/if-tru…

Trump ran on a ticket of stopping all the wars Biden engaged in. Just weeks into his term of office, he is not only giving a mandate to Israel to continue its war on Gaza, but he is owning it too. middleeasteye.net/opinion/if-tru…

We are only halfway through stage one of the deal, which provides for the release of 33 hostages in exchange for hundreds of Palestinianprisoners.  Why would Hamas release any more, if Trump pulls the plug on this ? middleeasteye.net/opinion/if-tru…

An MEE Exclusive reveals ICC prosecutor Karim Khan was warned to drop arrest warrants for Israeli officials Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant or be 'destroyed'.

Karim Khan, The ICC chief prosecutor was warned in May that if arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant were not withdrawn, he and the ICC would be “destroyed”. middleeasteye.net/news/israeli-l…

The warning was by Nicholas Kaufman, a British-Israeli defence lawyer at the court who told Khan he had spoken to Netanyahu’s legal advisor and according to a note of the meeting was “authorised” to make him a proposal that would allow Khan to “climb down the tree”.

Kaufman warned that if it emerged the chief prosecutor was applying for more arrest warrants, for far-right ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich over their promotion of illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, then “all options would be off the table”.

Kaufman told Khan They will destroy you and they will destroy the court.”Kaufman told MEE: “I do not deny that I told Mr Khan that he should be looking for a way to extricate himself ... I am not authorised to make any proposals on behalf of the Israeli government nor did I.”
