David Aldridge Michael Gove took a sledge hammer to the curriculum & assessment. He had no compunction about doing what he wanted. I’m not advocating that! But saying so strongly in advance ‘we’re not going to make big changes’ imo is a mistake given that in some cases big changes are needed.
