People think depression means your sad and crying all the time. Depression for me is being stuck in a twilight zone. i can't think , i don't respond to things , nothing is interesting , i just feel empty. not sad , just blank. I have a lot of days like this and they are hard .

Respectfully, I don't go above and beyond for people anymore. I meet you as far as you meet me. I speak to you as much as you speak to me. I include you as much as you include me.

I think it's nice to have someone who's aware of your sensitivity and learns to handle your feelings gently, with patience and care. it can be incredibly comforting to show your vulnerability to someone and have them learn how to respond to it with understanding
