He's just going to hold up the snack food that is known as a cookie,in Hope's that he can get his word across. "THIS THING" he spoke softly,realising somethings,plus he didn't want to come off as rude.

The food in question had been harmless,so he just watched them poke it. "I KNOW IT MAY LOOK WEIRD,BUT IT DOES TASTE GOOD. PLUS IT WOULD BE BETTER THAN EATING THREAD AND NEEDLES" he continued to use a soft tone as he spoke,trying to show that the cookie had been harmless.

Now he was a little nervous of those teeth,he didn't want to get bit by those."THE COOKIE IS INDEED BITEABLE" he confirmed that they could bite the cookie,being a warm blooded person himself,he could feel the heat radiate off other warm blooded creatures.

Okay,so the Cookie had definitely not been something the other enjoyed,karkat made a mental note of this. "OKAY,SO THE COOKIE ISN'T GOOD?" he asked them a little as if questioning whether or not they liked it or not. "WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO EAT?"

He could tell they were trying,that's why he gently gave them a few gentle pats on the head. "YES,IT'S EDITABLE" he answered their question,karkat felt bad that he had the urge to want to adopt this troll. He was mainly attempting to help and befriend them.

He watched them carefully,curious of what they had been doing. Though he didn't complain about anything,as there had been nothing to complain about,he was only 5'4 himself.

His face had been dusted a soft shade of red,due to the fact he wasn't expecting his face to be touched and hence a tad embarrassed . "MY NAME IS KARKAT VANTAS" he decided to give his full name to them.

He had to admit the gestures were adorable,but he managed to give a warm smile of his own. "ITS NICE TO MEET YOU KARLOY" his tone matched his smile which had been warm.
