purchased 50GB iCloud and it didn’t let me upload 55GB photos and vids (i just want to offload videos). So i purchased a 500GB SSD for 1800rs ($20), self hosted an old i3 5th gen laptop as server, used immich (opensource) and now life is good!

Suddenly Hetzner is blowing up, but in my experience Hetzner Servers are heavily targeted and easily susciptable to hacks (open pg, redis, mongo ports). Contabo is an alternative amazing cheap solution for hosting!
