I am struggling with the weight of what is going on in Israel. I am horrified at the maliciousness and the loss of innocent lives. I am also wary of performative platitudes and black boxes of solidarity. So if I don’t say much, it’s not because I don’t feel much.

RIP Norman Lear. He wrote my recommendation for graduate film school and really started my career. Always a wonderful, insightful man. Thank you for so much great television.
