Relieved to be out of that. Police checks just beyond narrow underpasses made tighter by presence of vans unnecessarily. Crowd very patient but was becoming tense. I was there two hours and twenty minutes before kick off, like a huge number of people. Only getting in now.

Liverpool end still only half full. It feels so wrong that so many people who have invested so much financially and emotionally to get to a game of this importance are going to miss some of it because of incompetent organisation outside the ground. Most of all, hope they're safe

The French authorities blaming fans for late arrival I see... I got to the first checkpoint at 6pm France time, 3 hours before KO. I was at the same checkpoint for literally 90 minutes along with thousands of others. They've been a fucking shambles. It's been an absolute joke.

They can absolutely fuck off with this. I've been between the train station and tthis ground since about 1815, held four times without explanation or seemingly reason and gates have been closed.

Nonsense for UEFA to suggest this is down to fans arriving late. I know LFC fans who arrived at Stade de France two and a half hours ago and have only just got inside the ground. Complete lack of organisation. Dangerous bottlenecks.

Disgraceful this from @championsleague been waiting an hour and a half to get in and no sign of being successful. Gates closed so no way of gaining entry. We’ve just been peppered sprayed yet no sign of crowd disorder where I am. Crowd building up outside. Joke

They’ve just announced another 15 minute delay “because of the late arrival of fans”. Utter bullshit.
