.Wikipedia in numbers for 2024. I'll still donate a few quid occasionally to keep this unbelievable store of knowledge free to use for all. #Wikipedia #knowledge wikimediafoundation.org/wikipedia-year…

Wherever my work takes me in England & Wales, I try and make it the local library. Oxfordshire County Council's library in Caterton, West Oxfordshire. Just 20 mins mooching around the book cases and a little insight to what happens in this part of the world. #Oxfordshire #lovelibraries

Changed two toilet seats today. Never leave it too late to change toilet seats. Not a pretty job, but a deep sense of achievement generated. It felt a bit like a #Spacex rocket returning from orbit. #chores

For people in my network who work in #LearningandDevelopment, do check out the 'freebie' sessions offered by TrainingMagNetwork. Although US-based, the webinar times still work well for a UK audience. Some great overviews of topics, like neuroscience of learning, are covered.

The #arts give young people such a great grounding for life skills. Learning does not just happen in classrooms, it's happening on the stage, too. Thanks to 🎭 Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation Of course, "All the world's a stage" too, I wonder where that's from...? #Shakespeare #lifelonglearning

Folks interested in Midlands history, do visit Elford Hall Gardens, Elford. Apparently part of Bham Museum & Art Gallery collection was kept there in WW2. Home for Spanish War children in the 1930s. The Hall is gone, but there's a glorious walled garden .Museum Collection Centre Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery Brumpic

For all the nonsense in the world, there's an anecdote on here that reminds me that being human is a wonderful thing. The archive material on BBC Archive is a joy. #BBC #BritishTV #Culture

Most welcome sounds: the sounds of children laughing, giggling, and having fun from at least two neighbouring gardens. Joy to heart to hear this. #spring #Thankful

The double A-side of UB40's Food for Thought/King - that early sound of the band was great. Hearing Food for Thought lots on my socials with (P) Birmingham City FC's promotion and Vertu Cup this weekend. Brian Travers saxophone is something else. Melodramatic + haunting. #BCFC #KRO #UB40

Listening to the Reunion on BBC Radio 4 with @Kirstywark, talking about The Passion, staged in Port Talbot by michael sheen đź’™ and a cast of many. Inspiring stuff! Theatre on a Biblical level, but with a grassroots heart.
