On this day in 2002, four Canadian soldiers (Marc Léger, Ainsworth Dyer, Richard Green, Nathan Smith) were killed and another eight were injured in Kandahar when an American Air National Guard pilot dropped a bomb on their location after mistaking the Canadians for hostile forces

The other team hit a walk off home run, and when the last runner crossed the plate, the catcher took off his helmet and shook the umpires hand to say “good game”. Love seeing unselfish sportsmanship like this, especially if the home plate umpire called a really good game. Kid

Moose win Game 2 by a final score of 2-1 and force a winner take all Game 3 on Sunday. And pandemonium to end this hockey game as you’d expect from two teams that dislike each other. What a hockey game. More to come on illegalcurve.com
