Guy's and St Thomas' how does the Trust justify its relationship with National Car Parks (NCP). The Car Parking is situation is set up to trap people and the Trust know this and turn a blind eye to it. NCP have a very poor reputation and form for being over zealous. I accept that space

is limited and rules have to be strictly inforced. I was dropped off three weeks ago at the drop off point. I attend once a month to have my tracky changed. I have to carry a suitcase and rucksack with medical equipment in, so need to get as close as possible There is one drop

off space. Its normally always full. The Car Park is always full. I jumped out just behind the drop off space. The total time I was there was under two minutes, closer to 90 seconds. No drama caused. It didnt effect anyone. Yet I still got a £100 fine from NCP. I appealed,

I explained both my situation and the time I was there. They didn't give a toss. I've wrote and emailed to Prof Ian Abbs the Chief Executive. He didn't even reply. I then wrote to the Trusts Diversity Team. My thinking was they will be big on that "project" of D.E.I. (Diversity

Equality and Inclusion), you know that silly American idea, jobs for the boys and all of that. I mistakenly thought that the "inclusion" side of it may have covered disabled people attending Hospital appointments, maybe the Diversity Team would have been interested in the

difficulties disabled people are having. Nah. It seems they're only there to dish out rainbow lanyards and remind us of what religious festival we should be thinking about. So as you can guess. I haven't heard back from them. From that experience how do they justify these mental

wages for a job we all know is not needed. So what happens now. I'll pay the fine. Never thought the world owed me anything. But I'll still stand on my soapbox calling them out as we all know this is a carve up. Next appointment I won't travel independently from Herne Bay,

paying petrol etc. I'll do what the NHS told me to do at the start. I'll use Hospital Transport. See with my condition and health it will be a full Paramedic transfer. I think its about £2K each way. What happens to all of the OAPs being dropped off by a family member. I mean,

the odds are that if you're going to Hospital then you're health is poor. You just dont need this hassle. I understand space is limited. I know NCP are pretty scummy so not surprised. Its the Trust I'm gutted that they didn't call their attack dogs off. I was born in

St Thomas'. They saved my life numerous times at the Lane Fox Unit. I owe them everything. But most of all my son was born there. The top table at the Hospital need to know what's happening. Just ignoring emails, letters and tweets isn't going to work. We need a grown up
