Stuck with a defective new build and spiralling legal costs. Sign off is meaningless and warranties are worthless. https://t.co/GEQvmDskO3

Why have we had to pay upwards of £350,000 in legal fees as innocent victims trying to claim against our structural warranty when Ms Donelan, who deliberately caused harm, had hers covered?

Clearly plenty of money available, just not for normal people eh Rishi Sunak?

Matthew Pennycook MP What is needed is an end to leasehold and the great feudal rip-off. Not transparency, not more conversations, but an end. And not just for the future - it must come to an end for all or else you’ll make it even worse with a two-tier system.

Dan Bruce We are ruled by imbeciles and psychopaths. When younger I used to give the benefit of doubt. At some point listened/read intercepted calls/transcripts published by the Hague exYU war crimes tribunals. With people in power - assume the worst and will be right 90% of the time tbh.

Matthew Pennycook MP When you win change the law. Abolish leasehold, introduce commonhold, find a better way than shared ownership there are plenty of international examples, find the balls to make the hard but right decisions Matthew Pennycook MP The Labour Party

rj Ljubomir Josifovski Matthew Pennycook MP It’s 350% because there aren’t the usual safeguards like competition, or even consumer rights.
Builders/Est Mgt Companies have owners trapped and know it. Public decency is the only limit to their greed, and it’s giving way in absence of anything more tangible.

Matthew Pennycook MP Leasehold needs to end Matthew, it’s not about transparency, it’s fundamentally misaligned interests.

All of it means nothing if we don’t actually own our own homes.

Look at what I have 2 deal with 👇

I don’t need a conversation.

I NEED THE RIGHT TO FIRE R&R & MY FREEHOLDER.

Having ‘a more fundamental conversation’ is gobbledygook masquerading as a substantive position. It literally means nothing. We need policy.

I need a 'fundamental conversation' like I need a hole in the head!

NO vote for The Labour Party unless they commit to stop leaseholders having to pay for any defects, refund monies paid& .

Remember, Tories don't need our votes to win, but Labour does!
