The fall of the Soviet Union (& every empire) taught us that extreme centralization of government collapses large systems over time. The U.S.A. has been different with all forms of government at all levels interacting w accountability. I hope our extreme federalization stops.

If you ever find yourself in a virtual space asking, is this person real, leave that space and find a setting with real community. Worship at a church, find a small group, join a club, meet someone at a coffee shop, talk to your neighbor. Let’s be real.
