I was able to independently confirm yesterday's temperature record in Emerson. The high in Emerson was 37.8 C on May 11, 2025, which is the earliest 100 F reading in Canadian history. The previous record was 38.9 C (102 F) on May 12, 1900 in St. Albans, MB (SE of Brandon).

Winnipeg's high up to 2 PM today was 36.3 C, which is the earliest on record such a temperature has occurred. This beats the previous record, set yesterday, when the high was 35.6 C!
