Proud to of submitted my nomination form for Russell Findlay MSP to be leader of the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party. Both in his professional and political career, Russell is no stranger to a challenge and delivering success. Time for change!

A pleasure to endorse Russell Findlay MSP for leader of our party. Both our country and party face hugely consequential times ahead and I know Russell is best placed to deliver change for our party and get us ready for the coming years. Join the campaign russellforchange.nationbuilder.com

In Scotland I have to pay Aldi an extra £2.35 for this compared to customers in Carlisle. Not a penny goes to public services, the supermarkets keep every extra penny. Does making me and others like me pay more to supermarkets for a bottle of wine really stop problem drinking?

This is crazy. Councils are already employing the teachers this funding is for. If we don't get the funding we will need to cut an equivalent number of teachers, around 2,200 posts. Is that what Jenny Gilruth and John Swinney want us to do?

Very sad. I first met Alex when I was a young journalist 27 years ago and last met him in Holyrood only a couple of weeks ago. Whatever our differences, he was a class act, with a rare political acumen, wit and charm.

Alex Salmond was one of the great politicians of his age. His impact, not only on Scottish politics, but those of the entire United Kingdom, cannot be overstated. And he was my friend. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…

Scottish civil servants told to come in 2 days a week — respond with: 🏊 “Where’s the pool?” 💸 “Pay me to commute!” 🤫 “We need shush rooms.” 🚶 “What about my long lunchtime walks?” ⚖️ “Is this a human rights breach?” What a bunch of skivers. Meanwhile the rest of us are

Charlie Kirk’s assassin Tyler Robinson, 22, killed him because he hated his opinions and thought he was a fascist. Yet ironically, HE was the fascist, killing someone to silence their opposing views. The woke left love to say ‘speech is violent.’ It’s not - violence is.
