The Panthers went 2-0 today at the 8th Annual South Texas Showcase! We’ve got plenty to work on, but I’m incredibly proud of the effort, grit, and passion our team showed against two tough opponents. Huge thanks to everyone who came out to support our athletes #PantherPride

O’Connor Panthers boys basketball finished the first round of district play 5–3 with a 74–53 win over Taft. Ethan Bliyeu had a career-high 28 points and 11 rebounds, Hagen Hurst added 15 points, 13 boards, and 6 assists, and Daniel Ikwuagwu scored 12. Panther pride 🐾

Panthers win against the Stevens Falcons 83–48 in district play. Hagen Hurst led the way with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists. Daniel Ikwuagwu added 16, Ethan Bilyeu had 13 and 10, and Jayden Ibarra scored 13. Evan Balboa led in assists (5) and steals (2). Panther pride 🐾

Congrats to our Panther basketball players for their hard work in the classroom! Daniel Ikwuagwu, Kingston Decker, Roland Portillo, and Ethan Bilyeu all earned 2nd Team Academic All-District honors. Proud of these guys for getting it done on the court and in the classroom. 🐾
