I’m private when it comes to most personal matters and contemplated on sharing this, but as a public figure, I’ve decided to fill you in on one of the most terrifying moments of my life…

During the early morning on 12/26 after being with my family on Christmas, I pulled into my parking space at the back of my Chicago home. After getting out of my car, I was robbed of my belongings and car jacked by a group of young guys…

God guided my steps during the robbery which I believe is why I was not physically harmed. But, I am mentally shook and will never be the same. I pray everyday that I get through this and wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone…

We hear these stories on the news everyday and I report about them on the radio myself… Now here I am. Please be careful out there and don’t take something like making it into your home safely for granted…

I thank God for keeping me. The outcome could’ve been so much different… I know it’ll take a lot of time, but I will push through. I have to. Love y’all.
