I don't want to hear about kids being "behind" next year....it was a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. Grade level is a construct and no student should be told they are behind, especially next year.

Leaders, be careful about surrounding yourself with people who always agree with everything you say. Although it is comfortable, it is dangerous because professional push back is what drives an organization (or a country) forward. #JoyfulLeaders

One of the first steps in becoming a great leader, is recognizing that your own attitude affects the attitude of those you wish to lead.

This is such a powerful tool. I only see this leading to transparency and growth for all involved.

It was very humbling to be selected as our building representative for Kansas Teacher of the Year. My students, their families, and coworkers are so amazing. They sure do make coming to work rewarding.

We read Walter's Wonderful Web. A cute story about a spider building his web with different shapes. Then of course we had to make spider hats with different shapes.
