Upon learning about the passing of Camden’s Icon&Legend, words can't begin to express my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends &former students of Ms. Riletta Cream. She was the embodiment of what it meant to be an educator, public servant, caring community leader & mentor

During the course of her life, Ms. Cream remained committed to educating our youth & creating scholarship opportunities for Camden's high school graduates to attend college.

Ms. Cream inspired generations of young students and adults, including myself, to always believe in themselves, to strive for academic excellence, to pursue career success, but most importantly, to give back to the community.

I'll be forever grateful for the opportunity to have worked w/Ms. Cream in gov't & to have gained an amazing mentor. Her loving &nurturing spirit will be missed, but her imprint on this world will never be forgotten. To honor her, I asked Chief Thomson to fly flags at half staff.
