With Commencement on the horizon, today we celebrate the Class of 2023's time as members of the Dana Hall community. #celebrateourseniors

The DH community gathered under the tent for a Class Day that honored both US and MS student achievements of the 2022-23 school year. The ceremony celebrates excellence in academic disciplines, athletics, performing and visual arts, leadership, community service, and citizenship.

Many members of the Class of 2023 have spent the past two weeks working on their Senior Projects, an off-campus internship experience that gives students a window into the post-collegiate working world. They shared their experiences at today's Senior Project Presentations.

Last week, the 6th grade held their annual Solar Car Races at the close of their unit on renewable energy. Students used the engineering design process to brainstorm an idea, make prototypes and then modify while testing.

Congratulations to the Class of 2023! On Saturday, the 83 members of the senior class pinned flower crowns in their hair, threw pennies into the Pond, and entered the tent filled with faculty, friends and family. Read more: danahall.org/news/article/~…

Students in Western Civ spent three weeks designing their own museum exhibitions, focused on a major theme from the course. They selected 8 art pieces from the time periods they studied that demonstrated their idea, then wrote an intro essay and a detailed caption for each piece.

It's official: They're now Upper Schoolers! Congratulations to the Class of 2027 who wrapped up their Middle School career during today's Moving Up Ceremony.

We enjoyed catching up with the many alums who attended our New York City and Washington, D.C., receptions last week. Thanks to our hosts Ann Wellmeier Hillard '55 and Marcia Teng Ishizuka ’77!

Sophia Sahni '23 spent parts of the past year reviving the Science Wing Greenhouse, which is now filled with plants and flowers. The work was part of an enrichment project on regenerative agriculture and sustainability, for which Sophia was given the John Means Spencer Award.

Today, GSEP participants spent the day at Babson College's Blank School for Entrepreneurial Leadership where they learned pitch tips and tricks, then got to work on a prototype and pitch in the Weissman Foundry. DH alum Maggie Noone '21 joined the group for lunch & a campus tour.
