The way that UUK and USS treated staff over this issue was outrageous. We had to strike repeatedly and were told over and over again that their experts knew best. But they didn’t.

Staff QUB - School of Psychology protesting at being silenced, by being refused entry to the exam board that they co-constitute UCU at Queen's Apparently differences of opinion constitutes ‘conflict of interest’ and will not be tolerated. Very disappointing, Queen's University Belfast 🎓

Yesterday, QUB’s Vice Chancellor sent an email saying that UCU at Queen's members should not attend exam boards because it’s a “Conflict of Interest” - even when they developed and delivered the modules single-handedly. As a student, I’m absolutely appalled by this. [1/4]
