The last few week’s reading has been bomber heavy until the brilliant Paul Beaver’s Spitfire People arrived. However with the Dambusters Miles RAF Benevolent Fund event taking place RAF Cosford this week it’s the perfect time to turn to Johnny Johnson’s biography.

Joined @UBASBlueLions in their Dambusters Miles at RAF Cosford this evening. After breakfast of 2x eggs & bacon, each 18x teams of 7 people set off round airfield for night’s waliking for duration of Op CHASTISE. Expect £30k+ for RAF Benevolent Fund Fabulous atmosphere & wonderful event!
