‼️A weather warning was issued for our area. We are expecting heavy snowfall tonight and into tomorrow. We strongly suggest staying home and off the roads and highways during this time. Keep your eyes posted for further weather alerts on our facebook page, and stay warm! ‼️

Construction at the Dalmeny turn-off & HWY16 slated to start July 19th, please be extra aware of your surroundings. We have had a couple of MVC’s at that intersection this week & are not wanting any more. Obey all traffic signs posted & slow down when you see flashing lights.

Last night we responded to a grass fire along the river bank as Mutual Aid. After a lot of hard work from our crews, we were rewarded with the most gorgeous sunset, and a brief visit with a moose. These warm days sure have kept us and our neighbouring departments busy.

DFR was very excited to be asked back to beat the heat at this years Soccer Camp. Not sure who enjoys it more, the kids who get a cool down, or our members who get to use the nozzles in a non-fire way!

Effective today there is a fire ban for the RM of Corman Park. Currently there is NO fire ban in the town of Dalmeny.

This past weekend we had some members attend a Heavy Extrication training weekend in Langham. Thank you members for dedicating your weekend. This training is beneficial for all the heavy equipment and trucks travelling on our highways.
