We must let go at the thought that learning English as an additional language in school is a problem. #bilingualism is an asset.

I think it's helpful to remember that students aren't going to acquire overall English proficiency in a short period of time. Our goal is to help them stay above water until they get there. Don't be too hard on yourself or your students when life takes its time.
