For far too long, PBMs have been allowed to skirt the law. Today my administration took an important step to hold Big Pharma accountable and imposed $1.5million in penalties.

Chaired by AR Insurance Dept. Alan McClain, the Property & Casualty Insurance (C) Committee met at #NAICFallMeeting to review reports, discuss the PCMI Data Call, and explore advanced vehicle tech, auto claims, fire science, and home resilience.

PBMs drive up healthcare costs and abuse the law. My administration already imposed a $1.5 million fine on these rule-breakers. I'm glad the Arkansas legislature took strong action to crack down on their malpractice.
