Meet the Extrajackets in s1! There are actually 24 survivors shown in Yellowjackets s1, 11 being extras (the last two rows, minus Mari). Some of these extras become actual characters in later seasons (mainly, Gen and Melissa). I'll go one by one through each of these extras: 🧵⬇️

Gen: Yep, Gen was actually an extra in s1, credited as "Yellowjacket #1" and already played by Mya Lowe (s2 Gen) before being recast with Vanessa Prasad in s3. Interestingly, in all seasons, Gen is credited as "co-starring", despite having no lines in s1.
