Funny how foreigners always say Brunei is the perfect country for introverts. 😂 But being in a small community means everyone knows each other. I always thought bigger countries are introvert’s heaven, because it’s easier to become invisible in the crowd.

That actually looks quite comfortable, other than the headgear maybe. Even that can be fixed by using modern songkok. And if you're against aristocracy shouldn't you support the democratisation of the attire?

Just a small portion of the population, usually repeat visitors. There are lots Bruneians who never even set foot in Miri. I myself visited Miri only 4 times in my entire life.

Iatah kamu nah. Orang cakap bisai-bisai, kamu emosi. Kana balasi kan? Inda setuju inda mengapa, yang penting jaga budi bahasa. Kitani bejiran jangan kan cari kelaie. Be the bigger man.

Hokkien Jitpun (quoted tweet actually mentioned that it's pronounced Jipun) is exactly the same as what we Bruneian called Japan.

Sometimes we see Malaysians using Javanese wayang kulit when they should have used the Kelantanese style. But this is an interesting case of Indonesians mistakenly using Pahang gamelan. youtube.com/shorts/7dvl-LB…

We can have preference but still being respectful. I like both Pahang and Javanese style of gamelan. They are both beautiful in their own way.
